I was on a team that was building an AI-powered HR app for an organization. When they shared all of their HR Google Docs with our team, all the filenames were prepended with ‘Copy of’, and then those filenames were populated into the citations in the POC we were building.
The engineers weren’t bothered by this issue because we were in the POC phase, but it took mere minutes to create, test, and run a Google Apps script that fixed the filenames in Google Drive, which saved us the requirement to build the fix into the RAG pipeline.
