I was working on a project for an AI-powered app to titrate more intelligence and automation into a university’s co-op program. The challenge was that the information for their program was scattered across many school sites, intranets, and PDFs. I scoured these sites and carved out a user journey map for both students—who were frustrated by the process of securing a co-op, internship, or externship—and employers who were overwhelmed with applications.
I created these in Miro. In each of the pink boxes is also a note with important points, opportunities to titrate AI into that particular step, and a ⚡️ to serve as a marker that the step is ripe for AI.
Not pictured (because it had all proprietary information) was a catalog of links and a dictionary of terms and abbreviations, so our team wouldn’t get tangled up in the lexicon that was very specific to that school.
