This isn’t new news by now, but I released a Google Doc with hundreds of tools that marketers can use. To make tools easier to find/use, I broke the doc down by task instead of the tools themselves.
How It’s Organized
The spreadsheet is broken into 14 categories:
- SEO Analysis
- Domain
- Links
- Keyword
- Competitive Analysis
- Tracking
- Social Media
- Spam/Hacking
- automated UI testing
- Structured Markup
- Developer
- Data Visualization Tools
- Data Sources
- Infographic Submission Sites
- Misc Efficiency Tools

That’s an intense list! Can you suggest a spreadsheet or something for organizing SEO tasks?
Thanks again for an awesome spreadsheet 🙂
I think that would be so specific to the workflow of the agency or in-house team. But you’re very welcome! Feel free to also check out my audit checklist: bit.ly/audit-checklist.

Any Traffic Tool (to peep the traffic of competitor’s site? (apart from compete.com)
Quantcast is a Compete alternative. I focus more on organic, so I use SEMRush or Searchmetrics to get an idea of organic traffic to a site.
Both of these Google docs are truly awesome and I see on both docs have hit the limit (apparently 50) on the number of users that get notified in the event of updates. Nicely done Annie 🙂
Gah! I didn’t know there was a limit. Lame.
Trust me, the fact that you hit these limits is a sign of how wicked awesome these docs are. I will check back often and recopy as these are great resources and worth keeping tabs on. Have great weekend!
Thanks! You too, Rick!
