What makes this case unique is its complexity and the fact that these unsophisticated criminals of below-average intelligence went unchecked in what was most likely a 1.5-year murder spree (if you include Joe) because of the complicity of friends and family, through acts of omission and commission. There have been many revisionist accounts of the events that led up to and followed each of these murders. So my effort here—as well as with my timeline—is to chase down the truth and empower other seekers of truth with tools that help us all get our arms around such a sad and complicated case.
